Planning is good. Enjoying it is better.
I recommend a year of preparation so supplier meetings are spread out over time. Life goes on while the project moves forward, and depending on the wedding it can be planned in 2 to 12 months. Short or long notice, ask for help whenever you need it.
Coordinating your wedding day matters most. A wedding lasts only one day; it would be a shame not to enjoy it, and your wedding planner is there to carry out everything you planned.
